It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda, who left us on the 14th of August 2023. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Alan, shared a deep bond that stood the test of time. Her daughter, Shelby Gayle, son, James Wesley, and step-daughter, Jessica Dawn, carry forward her legacy of equal parts laughter and biting wit, a testament to the example she set during her time here on earth with us. The joy of Linda's life radiated through her grandson, Owen, and granddaughter, Greer. A devoted sister to Sherry, Linda shared a special bond that transcended time and distance. The love between siblings was a source of strength and comfort to both.
The foundation of Linda's life was rooted in the unwavering love of her parents, Sandra and Tim Rainbolt. Their support and guidance helped shape the woman she became, and her legacy lives on in the love and memories they shared. Known for her zest for life, Linda lived each day to the fullest. Her laughter was infectious, resonating with the authenticity of her character. She found immense joy in spending time with friends, sharing a meal, and kicking back with loved ones.
Above all, Linda was a devoted family woman. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and her presence brought a sense of warmth and belonging that will be deeply missed. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light, reminding us to embrace life with the same passion and enthusiasm that she did. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love she bestowed upon us. Funeral Services will be held Monday August 21, 2023, at 1:00 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 5668 Poplar Ave Memphis, TN 38119. The family invites friends to a visitation prior starting at 12:00pm.
