Linda Louise Burford Nunnelee's Obituary
Linda Louise Burford Nunnelee, 76, born on November 4, 1947, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Olivi and Bertie Olivi, and her brother, Bo Olivi.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Nunnelee of 34 years, sister, Dottie Crawford and her husband Lonnie, her son James Burford and wife Renee', her daughter Katherine Russell, her daughter Deborah Doran and her husband Stephen Doran, her son Samuel Burford, her stepson Greg Nunnelee, and stepdaughter Michelle Wise and husband Mike Wise. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She worked for St. Jude for many years helping the children during their stay there. She also worked for Lancome cosmetics for 28 years putting smiles on the faces of everyone that she waited on. She was loved by anyone that ever crossed her path. She knew no stranger.
She was a devoted mother who had no limits to what she was willing to sacrifice for family or others. She was an unbelievable cook, especially her "Mimi dumplings and fudge pies." She loved riding off road in their ATV. She loved spending time loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always very quick to make everyone laugh with her quick sense of humor. During her stays at the hospital and nursing home, she had everyone wanting to visit her for a good laugh. Many said that she was such an amazing loving person. Her dog Buddy was her very best friend and he kept her busy messing up the house with all of his toys.
Services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN. 38133.
Visitation begins at 11:00am until 12:00pm with the memorial service to immediately follow.
