Linda Joyce Nelson's Obituary
Linda Joyce Harris Nelson, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1952 in Clarksdale, MS and at the tender age of 10, she was baptized, beginning a lifelong journey of faith and devotion to Christ.
From that day forward, she lived a Christian life, guided by her love for the Lord and her commitment to serving others. Her faith was evident in her kindness, her generosity, and the way she touched the lives of everyone she met.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, and her greatest joy was sharing God's love with her family and community. Whether through church service, prayer, or simple acts of compassion, she remained steadfast in her walk with Christ until her final breath.
She leaves behind her children Brigette Nelson and Eric Nelson; 6 grandchildren, Christianna Taper, Jeremiah Taper, Jalynn Taper, Eric Nelson II, Erica Nelson, and Erianna Nelson; 3 great granddaughters June Taper, Kalynn Scoggins, and Jamariya Taper all of Memphis, TN; 3 brothers, 1 sister and a host of nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish her memory and the example she set of unwavering faith.
