Linda Lentz's Obituary
Linda S Lentz was born March 17, 1947 and passed away June 15, 2018. She fought breast and lung cancer for 3 1/2 years. She was courageous in her journey and fought as hard as she could.She was retired from Kroger after 10 years of service. She owned Leisure Time Ceramics with her mother Ann Wilkins for 15 years. She was a member of Bellvue Baptist Church. She loved her church and attended as often as she could.She loved animals, especially dogs and gave many a loving home through the years. Her nurturing of Carl and Dixie comforted her and helped her along her journey.She is preceded in death by her parents Ann and Alton Wilkins and is survived by her son David Lentz and her two dogs Carl and Dixie. Her Sister Nelda Reasons, Brother-in-law Phillip Reasons, aunt and uncles, neice, nephews, cousins, and friends she loved dearly.She loved to cook and shared meals at her home on speacial occassions with friends and family and shared her desserts with the people she cared about.Her favorite hobby was searching for garage sales, especially with her sister.Her greatest love was her son, David, as his was for her. He was devoted to her during her illness.The family will receive friends and family from 1:30 p.m. until the service time at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
