Linda Graham Gross' Obituary
Linda Graham Gross passed away on September 29th, 2023 at the age of 80.
She succumbed after a long battle with medical issues that began with a cancer diagnosis in 1998. She showed courage and determination in facing life's toughest challenges and was strong to the very end.
Linda was born July 21st,1943 to her parents, Harvey Wilson Graham and Bonnie Mae Graham, where she grew up on a farm with two sisters. Her parents had a strong work ethic, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to family, which they instilled in each of their daughters. Linda cherished the close bond she shared with her parents and sisters throughout their lifetimes.
Linda graduated from Independence High School in Tate County Mississippi and went on to work at Kittle Pontiac Dealership in Memphis, TN and continued to work primarily in this profession, in differing capacities, until 1998.
Although Linda dearly loved her family and friends, she was a passionate dog lover and enjoyed their company throughout her life. She also was an avid reader.
Linda was predeceased by her aforementioned parents; her sisters, Patricia Ann Bailey and Janice Claire Maxwell; and son, Matthew Gross.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Lewis Edward Gross; sons, Mark G. Jones and Jeffrey B. Jones; daughters, Amber J. Thomas (Anthony) and Kimberly G. Herod (Lester); Grandchildren, Kendall Jones, David A. Gross (Yurina), Nicole Noble (Sam), Ryan Herod (Brittney), Amber R. Cooper, Jason Gross, and Natalie Wolford (Dustin); she also leaves numerous great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Rotunda. The Family will receive friends an hour prior starting at 1:00pm.
