Linda Stewart Case's Obituary
Linda Stewart Case passed away on Feb 1, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.
Linda was born on March 1, 1956 in Rockwood, TN. She was the youngest of 5 children. Her father’s role as an engineer with Boeing Aircraft allowed Linda and her siblings to travel the US during their young adult life. Linda graduated high school in Seattle and later attended the University of Washington. Following her sister’s footsteps, Linda relocated to Memphis, TN and began her career in banking and lending at Boatman’s Bank. She married Charles Case Jr in 1982 and started their family three years later, which included the arrival of Amelia (1985) and Jared (1986).
You could always find Linda listening to country music, following Nascar, watching the Hallmark Channel or creating holiday traditions. Traditions included sewing Christmas stockings, cooking Oysters Rockefeller and gifting yearly Hallmark ornaments. Most of all, Linda loved and provided for her kids and grandkids and created a warm home for her many animals. She always found a way to bring joy to others.
Linda was preceded in death by her father Gene Stewart, her mother Mildred Stewart and her sisters Denise Saunders and Teresa Beaty.
She is survived by her daughter Amelia Case Reynalds (Andrew), her son Jared Stewart Case (Alexandra), her sister Sherry Wheat (Wendell), her brother Gene Stewart (Mary) and her 3 grandchildren Iris Grace Reynalds (3), Harry Britton Reynalds (8 mo) and Sophie Maureen Case (9 mo).
