Lillie Mae "Lil" Allen's Obituary
Lil Allen of Cordova passed away on December 20, 2025. She was born in Lutts, Tennessee on February 6, 1935. Her family later moved to Florence, Alabama where she graduated from Central High School. She was a member of Colonial Park United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Romine and Mildred Bevis, husband, Russ Allen, brother Tommy Bevis, and sister, Nina McMurtrey. She is survived by her daughter Debi Crossnine (Mike) and granddaughter, Dena Hathaway (Troy). She is also survived by brothers, Roy Bevis (Myra) and Don Bevis (Linda) and sister, Cathy Oliver.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025, 1:00pm at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be sent to Colonial Park United Methodist Church located at 5330 Park Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119 or the charity of your choice.
