Lillian Tullos Smith's Obituary
Lillian Tullos Smith went to be with her Lord on February 16, 2013. She was born on January 30, 1943 in Greenwood, MS and grew up in Pace, MS., the daughter of W. T. Tullos, Jr. and Maxine Smith Tullos. She attended the University of Alabama where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and graduated from Delta State University. Lillian was a deeply spiritual person who devoted her life to her family and all those she served. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a teacher for many years at Saint Agnes Academy, University of Memphis, and Delta State University. Lillian, at the time of her death, was a Licensed Professional Counselor. She was proceeded in death by her father W. T. Tullos, Jr., her brother, W. T. Tullos, III and her sister, Fay Tullos Sanford. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Munal, her mother, Maxine Tullos and her sister, Vicki Tullos Meredith, many nieces and nephews, and special friends Jan Schoemaker and Sister Regina Grehan. Services will be held at the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 5668 Poplar Avenue on Tuesday, February 19 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. The family requests memorials be sent to Calvary Rescue Mission and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis.
