Lewis "Louie" Catone Jr.'s Obituary
On August 8, 2022, Louie Catone, Jr. of Memphis passed away after a short illness. He was 81 years old. Louie is survived by his two nieces Amy Stuart Fiala (Paul Burdette) and Ginger Stuart Kaplan (Lenny Kaplan, deceased); his great nephew, Blake Fiala (Leslie); and his great-grand-nephew, Sam Fiala. He was preceded in death by his sister, Toya Lovinggood; his brother-in-law, Bud Lovinggood; his great-nephew, Britt Fiala; and his parents Louie Catone Sr. and Georgia Catone.
Louie was born on May 31,1941 in Memphis, Tenn. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School and served in the Army National Guard. Louie was a very positive and friendly person who enjoyed interacting with customers for many years as he worked with Ashley Furniture and Havertys Furniture. His friends and family will miss him.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests celebrating Louie’s life with donations to Hope Church’s Stephen Ministry, MIFA, or a charity of one’s choice.
