Letha Ann Randle's Obituary
Lee Ann Randle, 81, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a long battle with heart issues. Lee Ann Randle, loving wife and mother of three, Lee Ann was born on August 27, 1939 in Memphis, TN to James Sanders and Jimmie Hopkins. Lee Ann managed routes for the Memphis Press-Scimitar and Commercial Appeal for over 30 years and primarily cared for her husband, children, and grandchildren. On March 18, 1958, she married Harry (Sonny) Randle. Together, they raised two sons, Harry Jr. (Bubba) and Daniel, and one daughter, Sonnie Gayle Crain. Just prior to her death, the couple had celebrated their 63nd wedding anniversary. Lee Ann’s greatest passion was for her family. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, where for many years she meticulously decorated the family home and prepared a Christmas Day breakfast feast for her family and friends. Lee Ann was preceded in death by both her father, James, and her mother, Jimmie. She is survived by her husband Sonny of Memphis, TN; three children, Sonnie (Byron) Crain of Hernando, MS, Bubba Randle of Memphis, TN, and Daniel (Brandi) Randle of Daytona Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Shannon (Clint) Bolton of Coldwater, MS, Kacie Crain and Josh Crain of Hernando, MS, and Calvin Randle and Elle Randle of Daytona Beach, FL; three great grandchildren, Josiah, Levi, and Thomas Bolton; along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. The visitation for Lee Ann will be held Monday, May 10, 2021, at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Lee Ann’s memory to her Church, Forest Hill Baptist Church in Germantown, TN.
