Mr. Pedron was a good man. He used to stand in the window on #1 recovery and talk about work with me while I smoked. I missed to many days of work and IPCO was going to fire me. Mr. Pedron went to bat for me because he noticed my dedication to my work when I was there. He refused to let them fire me. I straightened up and went on to do some things in the course of my job that saved IPCO way more money that they paid me in wages my 18 years of working for them. His compassion for a young man with some issues paid off for IPCO and helped make me the successful man I am today. For this I will always be indebted to Mr. Pedron. I just heard today of his passing and had to look him up. My condolences to his family. God did not make any men any better.
