Lester L Pratt's Obituary
Lester L. Pratt, 84 of Germantown, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2014. Les is survived by his wife of 64 years, Susan Pratt; his children, Michael Pratt (Linda) and Jeanine Wiley (David); sisters, Vera Moss (Bill), Linda Johnson (Larry) and sister-in-law, Johnnie Davenport (John). Poppa was a proud grandfather to Deidre McLeod (Tony), Ryan Wiley (Christina), Ross Wiley and Bill Hesselbein; great-grandchildren, Ashton and Keeley McLeod, Elijah Wiley, Will and Jake Hesselbein. Lester never met a stranger and brought pleasure to many with his infectious smile. His faith was deep and dedicated to his Christian family at First Assembly of God Church. He served in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Pratt retired in 1995 after 35 years with Carlos Wells Supplies Company. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and a service to honor his life will be held on Monday, November 10 at 2:30 p.m. also at Memorial Park.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
