Leonard Edward Ciarloni Sr's Obituary
Leonard Ciarloni, 92, passed away on November 4, 2022 at his home of sixty-three years in Cordova, TN. Born in Clarksdale, MS, Leonard at an early age with his family moved to Cordova, TN.
He was an avid supporter of the early development of St. Ann Church at Bartlett, TN and resultant elementary school facilities which were attended by his four children. His lifetime of farming began with commercial vegetable/produce farming that evolved into a highly respected row-crop farming company that operated in two counties. His love of agriculture also led him into principal positions with chemical, fertilizer, and industrial tire businesses.
The son of Italian immigrants, Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, and daughter Barbara Killian (John Killian). He is survived by his son Leonard Ciarloni, Jr. (Sherrie Ciarloni) of Cordova, TN, and son Robert David Ciarloni of Eads, TN, and daughter Dorothy Lane (Alan Lane) of Eads, TN, and son-in-law John Killian, SC, and as well five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Leonard’s graveside visitation will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8 with graveside service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Ann Catholic Church and School, Bartlett TN and St. Francis Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Cordova, TN.
