Leno C. Pieroni's Obituary
Leno C. Pieroni, 91, passed away peacefully April 11, 2024, at Methodist Hospital, Germantown, TN. He was lovingly surrounded by his family.
There will be a visitation Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119.
Mr. Pieroni was born June 4, 1932, to John and Letizia Mariani Pieroni. Leno was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings., Edith Pieroni Cerrito, Cecilia Pieroni Lucchesi, and Johnny Pieroni. He leaves behind nieces and nephews, Dolores C. Engelberg (Arnold) of Memphis, Donna C. McClure of Collierville, Sammy Cerrito (Bonnie) of San Antonio TX, Tish L. Montesi (Louis) of Memphis and Denise Lucchesi of Memphis TN.
Leno was very much a family man and spent most of his free time with his family. Leno loved eating his sister’s homemade Italian meals as often as possible. He enjoyed watching sports including football, golf, and NASCAR.
Mr. Pieroni also serviced in the United States Navy Reserves. Leno worked for Montesi’s Supermarket until his retirement. Mr. Pieroni was such a kind man, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or Town Village Independent Living Community 950 Cherry Rd. Memphis, TN.
