Lena Belle Forester's Obituary
Lena Belle Forester, age 87, passed away at Kirby Pines Retirement Community on August 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Wreatha Forester, and her three brothers, Rev. Thomas, Gerald, and George Forester. She is survived by six nephews and nieces. She was born in Camden, Arkansas, and graduated cum laude in 1947 from Bethel College in McKenzie, TN. Her work career was with the Christian Education Department at the Cumberland Presbyterian Center in Memphis, and as an administrator with Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas. Upon retirement, she spent much time working on family history. She was a member of Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis.
