Leigh Anne Strickland's Obituary
Leigh Anne Strickland, 59, of Oakland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 4th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramsey and Marjorie Trawick. Ms. Strickland is survived by her son, Justin Thomas Criswell. She not only was a Member at First Baptist Church Fisherville, but also an employee and volunteer. She was a nurse before she became an Air Traffic Controller. Ms. Strickland was one of the first women in Memphis to be an ATC. She retired after 20 plus years. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 6th from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. The funeral will be on Tuesday, May 7th at 11:30 a.m. also at the funeral home. The burial will immediately follow at First Baptist Church Fisherville Cemetery,11893 Macon Road in Eads.
