Rev. Lee Ragland, Jr.'s Obituary
Rev. Lee Ragland, Jr., the son of the late Lee and Nannie Ragland, Sr., was born on November 28, 1946 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life on February 26, 2021.
He completed his academic education in Little Rock, Arkansas with additional studies at Luther Rice College and Seminary. He was ordained to the gospel ministry by the late Rev. N.A. Crawford at First Baptist Mount Olive Church in Memphis, Tennessee on March 9, 1978.
His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Dr. Carolyn Boyland Ragland, his sister, Mrs. Gloria White (Robert) of Little Rock, Arkansas, his brother-in-law, Mr. Melvin Boyland (Julia) of Los Angeles, California and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive relatives on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 2:00 pm until the time of the entombment service at 3:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
Memorial contributions can be made in Rev. Ragland’s name to the American Lung Association.
