Faison, Lee C.'s Obituary
Lee C. Faison, 82, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 25, 2025, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.
Raised in Concord, California with his brother Jim, Lee proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve before embarking on a life marked by dedication, hard work, and love for his family. He was married to his wife, Katherine, for over 50 years, and together they built a beautiful life raising their five children in Memphis, Tennessee.
A dedicated provider, Lee spent his career as a manufacturer's representative in the home building and plumbing industry. Known for his tireless work ethic, he ensured his family was well cared for and supported in all aspects of life. Despite the demands of work, Lee always made time for his greatest passions. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, hunting, sports, family vacations, and various creative hobbies.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Katherine; his children, Stella, Velera, Christopher, Gregory, and Leon; and his seven cherished grandchildren, who will forever remember his warmth, wisdom, and love. His legacy of resilience, kindness, and devotion to family will remain a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew him.
Lee was a Catholic convert and regular parishioner of St. John and St. Louis Catholic churches in Memphis, TN. A funeral mass will be held Friday, January 31 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church.
Interment Calvary Cemetery.
