Laverne McMinn, 81, of Holly Springs, MS, passed away January 25, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow. Mrs. McMinn was preceded in death by her husband, Troy McMinn. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Hopkins; sons, Randy McMinn, Wayne McMinn (Sylvia), and Edward L. McMinn; four grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Francis Abel. She was a loving wife and mother.
