Laurie Ruth Miller's Obituary
On Friday, June 17 2022, Laurie Miller, beloved sister and aunt, passed away at the age of 60.
Laurie was born on May 18, 1962 in Memphis, TN, to Robert and Evelyn (Kemp) Miller. She attended local high schools in Memphis and studied briefly at the Mississippi University for Women. She worked for a while at the Campbell Clinic as a receptionist.
Laurie had a passion for sports, and was a fan of the Memphis Tigers and the Grizzlies. She was universally regarded for her kindness and willingness to help others. She enjoyed music, particularly Broadway musicals and the work of Barbara Streisand.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Aaron, her sister-in-law Jacqueline, and her two nieces Stormi Rose and Savana Joy Miller.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Poplar Avenue at the Mausoleum Rotunda at 2:00 p.m.
