Lauren Nicole "Nikki" Slakans' Obituary
Lauren Nicole “Nikki” Slakans, age 22 entered the gates of heaven where Jesus awaited her on April 17th, 2022. She was born on October 6th, 1999, in Memphis, TN to Tricia Patrick Slakans
and the late Shannon Slakans. Nikki had many hobbies, of those many hobbies two included creating artwork and using her culinary skills. She was a former student at Elaine Neeley Studios. Nikki loved cooking and it showed through her talent in culinary. She was passionate about designing artwork and specialty cakes from a very young age. Nikki’s future included a career as an esthetician. She had a smile, laugh, and personality that would light up a room when she was in it. Nikki was a friend to everyone she met and a stranger to no one. She is survived by her mother, Tricia Patrick Slakans, and siblings, Courtney and Dylan Slakans of Cordova, TN, and Cameron and Logan Slakans of Bartlett, TN. Nikki was preceded in death by her father Shannon Slakans and grandfather Valdis Slakans. She leaves behind grandparents Larry and Bonnie Patrick of Somerville, TN, and Bonnie Slakans of Bartlett, TN. Uncles, Jonathan Patrick (Ashley) of Somerville, TN, and Jeff Ross(Deanna) of Millington, TN. Aunts, Cassidy Patrick of Memphis, TN, and Debbie Eanes (Mark) Eads, TN. She also leaves behind loving cousins.
Services for Nikki will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home – Riverside Chapel. 5668 Poplar Ave
Memphis, TN, 38119. The visitation is on April 27th, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The funeral
service is on April 27th at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at 3:00 pm at Memorial Park
Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Lynn Holmes.
