Lauren was a great man. I always looked up to him and admired him. Even though I was not his blood but a nephew through marriage. Uncle Lauren and a
Aunt Sharon always made me feel like family and treated me as such. I don’t have a big family and they knew this and I can’t express how much it meant to me and still does. I was just telling someone about him around the time he passed. Lauren and Sharon were both amazing people and both will be missed. I can’t stress that enough but if you’re reading this you already know. Lauren and Sharon were a great Aunt and Uncle to many and were happily involved in their nieces and nephews lives. Thank you for everything. I love both of you and will never forget how great you were to me. Thank you.
Lauren was a one of a kind special man. I respect him for never giving up and always being true to himself and his vision. I always wanted to be just like him in that regard. It saddens me to see him leave this earth. I know he is with aunt Sharon now and i hope they both know I love and appreciate them greatly. They were both amazing. Never felt anything but love from either one of them. They didn’t have to include me but they always did. I love both of you guys and will always remember you as the loving aunt and uncle you were. Lauren was a wild man and I loved his spirit. He was the man! He once beat me in a race running in the woods with no shoes on. I had shoes and was much younger obviously. He said this to me when I asked him why he had on no shoes. “Boy if God woulda wanted you to have shoes you woulda been born with them”. At the time I didn’t see it as much. Typical Lauren kind of statement. Now looking back it was classic. lol.
