Laura Verniece Bright's Obituary
Laura Verniece Bright, 86 of Germantown, passed away November 2, 2015. She was a member of Advent Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Dovie Parkerson; her husband of 45 years, Wesley Bright; three brothers and two sisters. Verniece is survived by her children, Charlotte Peterson and Larry Bright (Becky); sister, Eula Lee Parkerson; grandchildren, Denise Treadway (Dennis), Jason Bright (Natalie), Joseph Peterson and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5 from 10:30 am until service time at 11:30 am at Advent Presbyterian Church on Germantown Parkway. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Advent Presbyterian Church “Building in the Spirit Fund”. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119. “Honoring Lives Behind the Stone Wall.”
