Latham P. Daniel's Obituary
LATHAM “Dan” DANIEL, 88, died May 22, 2013. He was a flight instructor with the United States Army Air Force during World War II and a graduate of Rhodes College. Dan retired as a regional manager for Connecticut General Life Insurance. He is survived by his wife, Coleen “Kittie” of Olive Branch, MS; daughters, Betty Daniel of Albany, NY (Hal Fried), Susan Daniel of Salem, OR and Cynthia Gholson of Memphis, TN; and grandchildren, Clara Fried of Washington, DC, Stephie Fried of San Diego, CA, and Daniel Gholson of Clemson, SC. Dan was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Germantown, 2425 S. Germantown Road, where a memorial service will be held Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation to St. George’s Episcopal Church or charity of choice.Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, (901)767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”.
