LaRue E. Hart's Obituary
LaRue Ecker Hart, Jr. 82, passed away July 11, 2017. He was a Master Electrician and taught 4th year apprenticeship for the I.B.E.W. for many years. He was a graduate of Memphis State University and was the rank of sergeant in the U.S.M.C. He was an avid skydiver, dirt and street bike rider as well as a unique sports and Volkswagen enthusiast. LaRue was also an FCC amature Ham Radio operator. He was also a lover of dogs throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hart; his parents, LaRue and Kathern Hart; and stepchildren, Patricia McDonald and Mackey Flake. He is survived by 1 son, Michael Hart of Memphis; 1 daughter, Nancy Renee Robinson of Oak Ridge, TN; 1 grandchild, Andrea Robinson of Fort Walton Beach, FL; 1 brother, Jerry Hart of Water Loo, AL; 1 stepchild, Peggy Russell of Memphis; and 2 cousins, Bill Hart of Memphis and Rex King. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday evening July 13 and funeral services at 2:30 pm Friday, July 14 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
