Larry T. Keller's Obituary
Larry Thomas Keller, passed away, December 28, 2018 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital. Mr. Keller was born on March 27, 1954 Highland Park, MI, to Darl J. Keller and Hilda L. (Lowe) Keller. Currently he was employed by Pro-Tech Security and contracted with FedEx. Larry had an extensive background in Criminal Justice and enjoyed many friendships at the 164th Air National Guard. He was a Public Safety Lieutenant with the Shelby County Police and a Deputy Sheriff for the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department.His most enjoyable work involved baseball. He was a Baseball Scout for the New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers, Florida Marlins and served as field manager for Southeastern Independent Professional Leagues. He enjoyed being the Assistant Baseball Coach at Crichton College and numerous summer camps throughout his life.His hobbies include, BASEBALL, Baseball, Baseball, running, bicycling, golf and hunting. He moonlighted as a Security Guard on weekends at Special Events and enjoyed making new friends. Mr. Keller is survived by his wife Glenda Langley Keller, they were married on April 30, 1991. He is survived by his stepchildren; Reed Browning (Jana) of Meridian, MS and Drew Terry (Christy) of Panama City Beach, FL. Grandchildren, Kylie Browning and Cohen Browning. Larry was the God Father of Ali Hamilton and Samantha Hamilton Olds, brothers and sisters; Jack L. Keller (Deborah), Richard D. Keller, deceased (Sheree), Laurie K. MacInnis (William), nieces and nephews; Cindy E Dion (Ed), Jack L. Keller, Jr (Lisa), Christopher P Keller (Julie), Jennifer Kaczmarek (Jason), Jacob T. Ball, Stephanie R.
