Larry Hastings' Obituary
LARRY M. HASTINGS, SR., 63, died December 1, 2011 at Baptist Germantown Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends Friday, December 2 from 7-9 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Memorial Park. Mr. Hastings was a 1966 graduate of Douglas High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, retired from Schering Plough after 34 years of service, and was a faithful servant of New Bellevue Ministries. Mr. Hastings was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Hastings and Murry Hastings. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Willeen Hastings; daughter, Debra Hastings Beason and her husband, Bobby; three sons, Reginald L. Hastings and his wife, Shulanda, Toney V. Hastings and his wife, Angela, and Larry M. Hastings, Jr.; one sister, Jocelyn Dunlap and her husband, Larry; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
