My favorite memory of Papa Foy was listening to him quote his many sayings. I loved learning what sayings came from him. Hampton and I always laughed when Papa Foy would call Mamaw "the cats meow" and "the best in the west." Hamp's contact in my phone is still "the best in the west," referring to Papa Foy's quirky sayings.
