Dear Gwen,
I received your letter yesterday informing me of the sad loss in August of your husband Max. I send my deep condolences to you, my precious friend. There will be days & nights when all appears silent around you. But lean on the passages in the Psalms that remind us that in silence my soul waits for God. In God alone I will survive. My rock unshaken; I will not be moved. In God I find my completion, my protection, my hope, my friend. I wish I could be there with you, Gwen, just to hear some of your lovely memories of Max. But I’m thankful you have children with their families surrounding you with love. Please express my sorrow to them as well. My prayers continue for you, that God will provide peace and comfort each day.
In the love of Jesus,
Diane Turner
