Watched Championship Wrestling every Saturday as a kid and Lance Russell was the best announcer i ever heard in terms of pro Wrestling. One was drawn to the matches commentated by Lance in his ability to make that particular match something else. Truly a legend and he will be greatly missed. I listen to Memphis Championship Wrestling on occasion through YouTube playlists. RIP Lance, I raise a glass to you sir🥂

Mr. Lance Russell, rest in peace. I was one of the thousands and thousands of people who watched you Saturdays mornings at 11. You were so smooth with the wrestlers and played your part extremely well. I will miss you!
