L. E. "Bud" Brazelton's Obituary
L. E. “Bud” Brazelton, 74, passed away March 10, 2018. He was born April 17, 1943 to Nell Pugh and Henry Ford Brazelton. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan; children and step-children, Rhonda Starnes, Andy Forsythe, Peter Brazelton, Zachary Brazelton, Kevin King, and Jeffrey King; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bud had a great sense of humor and was known for his quick wit. He was an avid member of the Sports Car Club of America and filled several different offices within the SCCA. He raced sports cars for many years and also was an instructor and mentor to many up and coming racers. He will be greatly missed, not only by his family, but also by his many friends within the sports car racing community. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. and funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, March 15 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Memphis and Shelby County Humane Society.
