Koti Ho's Obituary
Koti Ho was born on October 17, 1921 in the Liling County of Hunan, China, the son of Ho Peilan and Ho Yianxiu. He attended the Huangbu Military Academy, and graduated in its 18th year of service in the spring of 1944. Koti immediately volunteered to fight for China in the Anti-Japanese War, where he contributed his strength and resilience in battle. He followed his country’s leaders to Taiwan in 1949, where he remained in service. In 1963, he fell in love with and married Kao Chiehping. In addition to Chiehping, Koti is survived by one son, George, four daughters, Peiling, Anne, Margaret and Jade, and ten grandchildren. Koti Ho retired in 1970 at the rank of Colonel with many distinguished honors. In 1991, he joined his family in Memphis, Tennessee, where he became an enthusiastic member of local Chinese and Taiwanese activities. Koti often attended Church gatherings with his wife and daughters, where he came to know the word of God. He accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior and was baptized on February 4, 2001. On November 22, 2012, at 5:38pm, Koti passed away with his loving family and Lord at his side, in the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He was 92 years old. As 2 Timothy 4:7 states, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”May Koti Ho remain in green pastures, forever with glory, peace and joy in the kingdom of Heaven.
