Kirke Ringler's Obituary
Kirke L Ringler went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, May 7, 2018.She was born August 2, 1947 in Pasadena, California, the daughter of Doug and Elsa (Bonnell) FryeShe graduated from California High School, then received her LPN in Hollywood, California beginning her career as a nurse. Kirke was an outstanding nurse and caregiver. She treated her residents like they were her parents. She practiced in 3 states, California, Ohio and Tennessee, last working in 2010.She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Roy W. Ringler, to whom she was married 47 years. Their life together was a wonderful love story. In addition to her husband, Kirke is survived by her brother, Doug Partington (Elizabeth), of Australia; two brothers-in-law, Robert B. Ringler (Carol) and David E. Ringler (Lynda), of Pennsylvania; a host of nieces and nephews and several cousins in North Carolina; and many dear friends, neighbors and ex co-workers. And last but not least, Kirke is survived by someone very near and dear to her, Melissa, and her family in California.A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 12 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kirke to Prison Fellowship, 44180 Riverside Parkway, Landsdown VA 20176,Prison Fellowship Home(800)206-9764.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
