Kimberly M. Smith's Obituary
Kimberly M. Smith, 36, of Memphis, TN, passed away on March 16, 2022, in her sleep at home.
Kimberly was born on September 3, 1985, in Memphis, TN, to Charles Edwin Smith and Carol Stafford Smith.
Kimberly was employed for 15 years with Rural Metro as an Advanced EMT, assigned to Collierville Fire, Station 5, at the time of her death, and leaves many co-workers and friends she was especially fond of. It was always her passion to follow in her father’s footsteps and make both him and her mother proud, which she certainly did.
She is survived by her heartbroken family: father, Charles (Penny) Smith and Mother, Carol; brothers and sisters: James Larry Bragg, Jr. Rodger Dennis “Mac” (Mandi) McKinney, Jr and Ashley McKinney (Dewayne) Young; nieces and nephews: Madison (Nick), MacLayne, Elyzabeth, Presley, Monroe, Ayden, Brannigan and Jasper; godparents, George and Amy Moore, and her very special fur baby, Bella.
The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6529 Stage RD, Bartlett, TN, 38134. Interment next to her grandparents will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange RD, Memphis, TN, 38134,
The family will receive guests at Charlie and Penny’s home in Atoka, TN following services from 2 PM – 5 PM.
