Kiahn Alexander Safdari's Obituary
On Thursday, November 4th, Kiahn Alexander Safdari, a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend passed away at his residence in Huntington Beach, CA. The world lost the greatest person we know.
Kiahn was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He attended Riverdale Elementary/ Middle School and Germantown High School where he graduated in 2003. He lived between Memphis and Southern California in his adult life and had most recently resided in Southern California since March 2019.
He was ecstatic to be enrolled in courses at Golden West College set to start in January. One of Kiahn’s favorite pastimes was playing the guitar, first the acoustic, then the electric. He played daily and taught himself what he knew. He also enjoyed cooking, playing basketball, studying nutrition, and connecting with his inner spiritual self through deep breathing, journaling, prayer, and yoga.
Kiahn was fiercely loyal and loving to his family. His energy and presence was bright, kind, and captivating. His smile and laughter were genuine and contagious.
He knew no strangers and forged authentic connections with people everywhere he went. He would often take time out of his day to sit down with the less fortunate, ask about their life stories and would help them any way he could.
Kiahn will be lovingly remembered by his father, Alexander; mother, Maggi, and her husband, Ziggy; sisters, Holly and Nikoo; brothers-in-law, Matteo and Josh; nephew, Waylon; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.” - Rumi
