Kenneth Taylor's Obituary
Kenneth Scott Taylor, of Memphis, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was born in Gleason, Tennessee in 1924 and graduated from Memphis Technical High School. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre of WWII and received two bronze stars. After the war, he worked as a carpenter and later became a real estate owner and property manager. He was a former member of Evangel Baptist Church. He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Jim and Kathy Taylor Smith of Rossville, Tennessee; Robert and Donna Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee; and Philip and Elise Taylor of Maryville, Tennessee, as well as seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue, Thursday, May 29, with visitation at 10:30 a.m. and funeral at 11:30 a.m., followed by internment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
