Kenneth Price's Obituary
Kenneth H. Price “Ken”, age 54, died suddenly on Wednesday evening, February, 13, 2013, while at his parents’ house. He and his sister were caring for their mother who had recently been ill. Ken Price was born January 21, 1959, in Chatom, Alabama where he lived until he was three years old. Ken would eventually become a lifelong area resident of Memphis, TN and lived in Olive Branch at the time of his death. Ken worked for twenty seven years as a Director and Producer for Time warner Cable & Comcast. Ken loved his job working Local area shows, football games, Western Festival and Memphis Tennis tournaments. Ken also loved traveling with his family all over the world but Disney World would always be his favorite vacation spot. While Ken never married he was an avid family man who loved spending time with his mother, father, sister, two nephews, five great nephew’s and two great nieces. Ken is survived by his father and mother, Dr. Jim and Joann Price; his sister, Sherry and husband Royce Holmes; his two nephews, Jason and Joshua Holmes; their two wives, Jennie and Roechelle Holmes, their seven children, Benjamin, Caleb, Zach, Aiden, Emma, Jacob and Lilly, his Uncle Richard Mattox and wife Nancey Mattox: his aunt Doris French He leaves many cousins, co-workers and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lena and Ollis Gresham and Blondell and Harley Mattox and brother, Jim Price. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The interment will be private at Southwood Cemetery. In honor and memory of Ken Price the Price family is asking for Contributions to be made to the wounded warrior project.
