Kenneth J. Gordon's Obituary
Kenneth J. Gordon, Jr., 67 passed away peacefully on October 20, 2015 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House. Kenneth was born in Memphis on November 19, 1947 to May and Kenneth J. Gordon, Sr. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended Memphis State University. He retired from Meadors Freight Co as a rate clerk. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and loved spending his retirement days playing pickle ball and table tennis and a fan of Sherlock Holmes. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Gordon and his father, Kenneth J. Gordon, Sr. He leaves behind his mother, May Gordon; sisters, Carolyn G. Clark (Steve), Catherine G. Pfeifer (Greg); three nieces and one great nephew. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23 at 2:30 pm, the family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 pm all at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue.
