Kenneth Ray Garland, Sr.'s Obituary
Kenneth Ray Garland, Sr, 82, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior January 31, 2018. Kenneth was a 6 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves and a graduate of Whitehaven High School and Memphis State University. He was a home builder/realtor for 40 years in the Memphis area. He was also an avid golfer reaching the “Sweet 16” of the US Senior Amateur in 1991 and an active member of Christ United Methodist Church. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Garland; 1 son, Kenneth (Ashley) Ray Garland, Jr; 2 grandchildren, Halle and William Garland; 1 daughter, Elisa (John) Garland Luckey; and 1 brother Jack (Carole) Garland. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm followed by funeral services Sunday, February 4, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Bouknight Fund, or the Mid South Parkinson’s Support Group.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, 901-767-8930……..
