Kellie Ann Negrete, 58, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Southern California, passed away at home on December 15, 2018.The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., with a service to celebrate her life following at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 27 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Father Ben Bradshaw will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA would be appreciated.Kellie was born on August 13, 1960 in Los Angeles California. She spent most of her childhood in San Dimas California. Upon graduation from San Dimas High School, Kellie began her career as a dental assistant, working for more than twenty-five years with Dr. Richard Cohrs in Covina, CA. She looked forward to seeing many of the special people who were patients there. Kellie was known for her quick wit, compassion for others, thoughtfulness, great sense of style, but most of all her love of all animals.Those who will miss Kellie the most include her life partner of 11 years, Gina Baker, her dogs Lillie, Sam, Gracie, her cat Jones, her best friend Susie Leskera of Long Beach, CA and her closest cousin Randi Metchnikoff of Kingman, AZ.Her large family in California includes her mother Donnis Negrete, sister Lorraine Barron, and brothers John and Rick Negrete along with her Uncle Louis, Aunt Patsy and many other nieces, nephews and cherished cousins.She was reunited in Heaven with her father, Daniel Negrete, sister Jill Shea, brothers Rudy and Paul Negrete and many of her beloved pets.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
