Kelley Simpson's Obituary
Garnett Kelley Simpson, 83, of Memphis, retired from Martha White Foods, Inc., died Thursday at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving stateside. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm Saturday, April 14 at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar and 1 – 2 pm Sunday, April 15 at Colonial Baptist Church, where he was a member. Services will immediate follow at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Woods. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca Fern Crass Simpson. He is survived by three daughters, Becky Hundley (Rick), Kelley Moore (Jimmy) and Kim January (Greg), all of the Memphis area; a sister, Nina Simpson Davis, of Ada, OK; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
