Keith was terrific father-in-law and loving father to his wife, Pat, and daughters: Debbie, Cheryl and Brenda.
My fondest memories will be of his willingness to entertain his youngest daughter’s family penchant to want to explore the Memphis area when they came to town and his excitement at seeing his youngest set of grand kids – Logan and Alexis. He took great pleasure in entertaining them, along with their father, and on numerous occasions took the family to the Zoo and the Children’s Museum.
One of my most memorable moments with him was on an April afternoon and a visit to the Gibson Guitar Museum. To tour the facility and see the guitars assembled was phenomenal and spending time with him and seeing his amazement at the intricacies of the assembly was truly enjoyable.
I’ll miss his dry wit and matter of fact fatherly advice. He was a wealth of knowledge and always willing to share his experiences in the DIY jobs around the house. I’ll miss hearing that voice and our conversations we had on our family visits.
God speed and rest in peace – Keith.
