Kay Huckabey-Moore's Obituary
Kay Huckabey-Moore (Noni to her grandchildren, 53, passed away March 30, 2010, at her home in Cordova. Born in LaFollette, TN, Kay completed undergraduate studies at Austin Peay University and a Masters in Journalism at the University of Memphis. For the past four years Kay has served as Caring Ministry Coordinator for Hope Presbyterian Church; a true calling suited to her kind and loving nature. Kay leaves her father, CW4 (ret.) Bo Brown, U.S. Army and sister, Karen Franklin both of LaFollette TN; her husband, Bob Moore; two sons, Kyle and Logan Huckabey; two step children, Cameron and Margaret Moore; and four grandchildren: Larra Huckabey, Piper Huckabey, Konner Huckabey and Aiden Worrell, all of Cordova, TN. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. After a private burial, a celebration of Kay’s life will be held on April 2, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel at Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, TN. In lieu of flowers make a contribution to Hope Church Samaritan Fund.
