Hello.. I am a Carbondale friend of both Kathy and Jon’s..My heart is with them both and I am helping with the service. I am asking for some help with photos and memories of Kathy to create a powerpoint presentation for the service on Saturday. I found the most amazing photos and videos on this site, however, I can not save them to add them to the slide show because they are blocked. I met Kathy about 26 or 27 years ago through a mutual friend, which turned out to be one of the most fortuitous events in my life. Not only did I meet someone who was to turn out to be one of my most cherished and dear friends, but I also ended up with the most unique job. Kathy hired me to help her in her dog grooming shop and taught me the art of dog grooming and fed my need to work with animals. She was the sweetest, most generous, and true friend. Words do not describe the sorrow I feel. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to her soul mate and partner of 28 years, Mr. John VanNess, her loving family (some of you whom I have met in the past) and friends throughout the country.
