Sister Shappley and her husband attended Oakland Church of Christ for many years and we loved them dearly. She called me several times also when her daughter was running for public office and we enjoyed talking and remembering the precious times we had with Bro. Arnold when he was attending there too before he went on to be with the Lord. They both are God’s precious angels he shared with us for a little while and after my own parents passed away I said there are a lot of reunions going on in paradise and they just have a new address and God and they send postcards from heaven with every sunrise and sunset He blesses us with each day letting us know God and they love us all. Keep looking for them to remind you how much they are watching over you and want you to be at peace until you meet again. God bless you all and we are praying for peace and comfort from Jesus when you miss those hugs they shared with us. We always have one for you anytime you need one too. We are family thru Jesus at our home congregation at Oakland, and they were such a wonderful part of our family for a while. Aunt Kathryn was a sweet and cheerful lady! She had humor and grace. She was the youngest of her siblings and the last to go home to be with the Lord. I can only imagine how much fun she and her sisters (of which one is my mom) and mother are having being together again.
