Kathryn Novarese's Obituary
Kathryn N. Novarese, 94, widow of Victor C. Novarese, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in 1947 and was a practicing nurse for 50 years in Memphis. She was an avid tennis player and enjoy spending time with her all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Novarese is survived by her three children; Michael J. Novarese, Rebecca Novarese (Steve Burge) and Phillip Novarese (Kimberly), seven grandchildren; Santina Campbell (Josh), Victoria McDuffee (Andy), Paul Novarese (Stephanie), Dr. Alida Gage (Billy), Julie Pierotti (Ronald), Roman Novarese and Leah Novarese, and four great grandchildren; Paul Campbell, Michael and Christian Novarese, and Marie Pierotti. Mrs. Novarese was a communicant of the Church of the Holy Spirit. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, January 2, at Memorial Park Funeral Home with a Rosary to be said at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 3 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2300 Hickory Crest Dr. Memphis TN. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to the Maria Montessori School, 740 Harbor Bend Rd., Memphis TN 38103.
