Kathryn Bargiacchi Murchison's Obituary
Kathryn Bargiacchi Murchison, age 71, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Kathy was born on October 5, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, where she spent most of her life. She graduated from Overton High School and later from the University of Tennessee. Kathy worked for many years as a dental hygienist, a profession that reflected her caring nature and commitment to helping others.
Kathy also dedicated time to serving her community by volunteering at the Church Health Center in Memphis, where she supported the organization’s mission of providing healthcare to those in need.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Danny Murchison; her daughter, Michelle McManus (Blake); and her son, Daniel Murchison (Elle). She was a loving grandmother to Will, James, and Kathryn McManus, and Hawkins Murchison.
She is also survived by her brother, Steve Bargiacchi (JoRene), and her sister, Susan Ricci (Gary). Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Bargiacchi and Kay Wadlington.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
