I have lost the guiding light and compass to my purpose; my sweet Sugar will be missed more than anyone can possibly imagine. The only saving grace is that she is reunited with her family who always embraced the Christmas season and spent it together. I Love You Sugar…3… Your Mikey
I have many, many fond memories of spendinng time with Mrs. Rivers in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades – mostly doing Cub Scout activities and weekly meetings at her house, but also spending time with Kelly and Robbie just being boys. I still have those Cub Scout books with her “KR” adjacent to all the things I learned and accomplished. She and my Mom became great friends as Cub Scout leaders. I heard her tell my Mom one time that she wanted her boys to grow up to be good men. She succeeded. I last saw her at Kelly and Lisa’s wedding (a few years back) and her comment as we parted was, “I’m so glad you and Kelly have remained such good friends.”Our families’ thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.Doug Brown, Jr.
