Karen Ann Paine New's Obituary
KAREN ANN PAINE NEW, 68, passed away September 9, 2013 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born March 13, 1945 to the late Gertrude and A.D. Paine, Jr. in Memphis, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Brokaw New and her two sons, Erick Brokaw New (Suzanne) and Christopher Lynn New, brother, A.D. “Doug” Paine, III and two grandchildren, Garner Brokaw New and James Gregory New. She worked as a legal secretary for many years and retired from Schilling Enterprises. Karen was a faithful member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Laureate Omega Chapter and was proud of her 44 years of perfect attendance.
