Karen Ann Legaux, 66, passed away May 11, 2023. Karen Ann Deruise Legaux was born October 3, 1956. She departed this life on May 11, 2023.
She was a devoted mother and wife to her family and a source of inspiration and kindness to those she encountered. Her faith in the Lord and love for her family were the pillars of her soul.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Jacqueline Deruise, her brothers Raymond Gerard and Troy Michael Deruise and her son Santell Miguel Legaux Sr.
She leaves to mourn her husband of 47 years Ignatius M. Legaux, Jr.; Her children Ignatius M. Legaux, III. (Wife- Annabel, grandson’s- Ignatius M. IV., Phoenix A., Rhemilius Z., granddaughters- Maliyah, Gabrielle Hollie), Starr Reychell, India Domonique Legaux (fiancé Christopher Gabriel). Dwana Collins, mother of grandchildren Gyasi V. and Santell M. Legaux Jr.) and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews and many other lifelong friends.
Family will receive friends and family from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
